As we do every summer, we're taking a break in August -- only it's a bit longer than usual this year. 

We find there's little news to write about it in the period before Labour Day. And if something newsworthy does happen, there are few readers around to read about it. 

We're heading to the beach with a stack of good books -- forgive the shameless plug. We will be back in early September with more news.
